POLICY PRIVACY BASED ON ART.13 AND 14 OF THE EUROPEAN REGULATION N. 679/2016 (GDPR)

Furnital S.r.l (hereinafter Furnital) protects the privacy of personal data and guarantees to them the necessary protection from any event that could put them at risk of violation.

The following informative it is, with respect of art. 13 and 14 of the European regulation 679/2016 ( as follows “Regulation”), to users (as follows “ users” or “user”) of the website in desktop version and mobile version www.furnital.it, (as follows “website”) of property of Furnital S.r.l.

The following reporting  has the purpose to describe the procedures for administering  the website with reference to the processing of personal data.

The services  are offered by the owner for people over the age of 18 years old. In the case that the owner became aware of the under aged people’s policy privacy without a valid parent or legal tutor consent, he can end the offered service and erase the data

 

1. The “controller” of the processing

Furnital S.r.l. in the person of the legal representative, with legal address in Como(CO) , Via Giovio N. 35  work as controller of the processing.

2. Principles applicable to the personal data policy

The controller, regarding the regulation, inform that this legislation has the purpose to protect the personal data of the users and that this policy privacy is oriented on principals of fairness and transparency, furthermore on the protection of confidentiality and human rights.

 

3. Types of users

Regarding the usage of the websites, the type of users are the following:

  • Simple users: this type of users can have access to any page and section of the website (e.g. every website page, catalogue download, ecc) independently, without insert username and password for login.
  • For now there aren’t any other type of users ( e.g verified users)

 

4. Purpose, juridical base of the policy and optionality

Personal data of users will be treated with their consens, for the following purposes:

 

A. Emission of requests from the users:

To allow the users to be in contact with Furnital S.r.l ( for example to ask information about products/services), it has been provided a special contact box in the “contact” page, to fill in with the following data:

_Name

_Surname

_Email address

_Text of the message


The data provided by the user will be used exclusively for the fulfillment of the request contained in the “Text of the message”. Therefore, the storage of such data in platforms and / or software is not envisaged (eg, management software, CMR, platforms for sending newsletters). Any other data provided by the user on a voluntary basis and contained in the “text of the message” will be processed in the same manner.

However, about specific requests (for example: for personal price quotations, delivery of samples) there is a possibility that some data will be registered in the software/ platform to meet the request of the user.

In this case the data could also be transferred to a third person but only for the purpose mentioned above and under request of the user ( e.g. transporter-related interactions/ courier about postal deliveries of samples and/or flyers).

B. Information and promotion activities

With the purpose to allow the user to receive information about Furnital Srl, regarding the launch of new products/services, articles or services’ promotions, participation to dedicated fairs and events, furthermore news and curiosities, the user can consult the “Furnital Newsletter” to the following web page: http//www.furnital.it/newsletter/

The necessaries data for the request are the followings:

_Email address

_Name and Surname

_Name of the company ( optional data)

 

To complete the process it necessary to select:

“I want to receive Furnital Newsletter” and click on “Subscribe”.

After the registration, the user will receive a mail in which will be requested the confirmation of the registration. Only after this passage, Furnital will be allowed to send further mails. This procedure of double opt-in has been adopted to garantee a better protection of data and to be sure that the email address is not registered by a third person.

About the newsletter, the data of the user will be memorized, not only, also the click and opening data will be memorized in order to offer a more accurate and personalized information about the products/ services.

It is possible to revoke the subscription to the newsletter in any moment, sending a message to the contact option described in the section “owner of the treatment” or through the link given in the newsletter. After the cancellation, the email address of the user will be delated unless the person has agreed to a further use of the data.

The Newsletter is sent in the behalf of Furnital, by a services supplier based on the United States and precisely: The Rocket Science Group, LLC 675 Ponce de Leon Ave Suite 5000 Atlanta, GA 30308 USA. The owner assure that the personal data treatment from this supplier shall be carried out in accordance with Regulation.

Providing data for the actions explained at point A and B is not mandatory but an eventually refusal from the user will mean the impossibility of the owner to accomplish the requests or to offer services described above.

 

5. Methods of treatment and storage of personal data

The owner assure that personal data are used in the respect of the Regulation through manual, informatic and telematic systems. The treatment could be done through automatic tools for memorization, manage and transmission of the data themselves.

These data will be protected in order to avoid the risk of not allowed login, spread, losses and destruction of data, pursuant to articles 25 and 32 of the Regulation.

The treatment of the data will last not more than the necessary time to fulfill the requests for which they have been collected.

Pursuant the article 7 paragraph 3 of the Regulation, the person concerned has the right to revoke in any time the consent of the treatment.

Without a request of cancellation, the data will remain in the database for a maximum period of time of 10 years with the following:

  • Point A previous paragraph “Emission of requests from the users”: from the date of the user’s last contact, in the case the request imply the necessity of register his data ( as specified in the paragraph). The previous information can’t be apply in the case the initial contact become a commercial relationship.
  • Point B previous paragraph “Information and promotion activities”: from the last opening of the mail containing the Furnital Newsletter.

 

6. Navigation data

IT systems and software procedures used to operate the services of the Data Controller data processing acquire, in normal operation, some personal data that come implicitly transmitted in the use of internet communication protocols.
This is data are related to telematic traffic which by their nature are not immediately associable with identified subjects, but through processing or association with data held by third parties could allow identify users / visitors of the website. These include the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URL addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server and other parameters related to the operating system and to the platform used by the user.

The above data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: apart from this eventuality, the contact data on the website don’t persist for more than seven days. Third party hosting services

As part of the processing on our behalf, third-party organizations provide us with hosting and website submission services. All data collected as part of the use of the site or in the forms provided for this purpose on our web pages, are processed on their servers. These service providers, including server locations, are based in European Union countries (the Netherlands).

 

Use of google analytics for web analysis

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google uses the data collected to track and examine the use of this site, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services.

Google may use the data collected to contextualise and personalize the advertisements of its advertising network.

Google LLC is based in the United States and is EU-USA Privacy Shield certified. Following this agreement between the United States and the European Commission, the latter established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified as part of the privacy shield.

7. Transfer of data from a third country or to an international organization

Personal data collected through the site, may be transferred within the national territory, only and exclusively for the execution of the services requested through the site and in compliance with the specific provisions of the Regulation.

Some personal data may be shared with recipients located outside the European Economic Area. The owner ensures that the processing of personal data by these recipients takes place in compliance with the Regulations.

 

8. Rights of the interested party

Pursuant to art. from 15 to 22 of the Regulations, the user, as an interested subject, has the right to exercise specific rights regarding his personal data. In particular, the interested party has the right to obtain:

1. The confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning him, even if not yet registered, in a concise, transparent, intelligible and easily accessible format, with a simple and clear language;

2. The indication:

  • of the origin or personal data;
  • of the purposes and methods of treatment;
  • of the legitimate interests pursued by the owner or by third parties;
  • from any recipients or any categories of recipients of personal data
  • any intention of the owner to transfer personal data to a third country or to an international organization;
  • of the retention period of personal data;
  • of the applied logic, as well as the importance and expected consequences of this treatment for the data subject, in case of treatment carried out with the aid of electronic tools as part of an automatic collection and / or profiling process;
  • of the identification details of the data controller, of the responsible persons, of the possible designated representative and of the person in charge of data protection (so-called DPO);
  • the subjects and the categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may come to know as a designated representative in the territory of the State, managers or agents;

3. the possibility of proposing a complaint to a supervisory authority;
4. updating, rectification or, when interested, integration of data;
5. the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including those whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;
6. the limitation to treatment
7. the portability of personal data concerning him to another data controller;
8. withdrawal of treatment
9. the attestation that the operations referred to in letters a) and b) have been brought to the attention, also with regard to their content, of those who have been communicated or disseminated, except in the case in which such fulfillment proves impossible o involves a use of means manifestly disproportionate to the protected right;
10. the opposition, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning him, even if pertinent to the purpose of the collection.

Changes in Privacy Policy

The controller reserves the right to change, to update, to add or to remove parts of this privacy statement at its discretion and at any time informing the users on this page The concerned person is obliged to verify periodically any changes. In order to facilitate such verification the policy statement will specify the date of updating of the same down below. Unless otherwise, the privacy policy in force at that time shall apply to any personal data that the owner of the policy has on the users.
